Gary Smothermon, CDT, is the lab’s manager. With industry experience since 1994, Gary manages the lab’s craftsmanship, technologies, and customer relations. Custom shades and anterior cases are his specialties in ceramics. Gary’s schooling includes LVI full mouth waxing and anterior esthetics, Emax custom color, and internal staining. Gary and his wife are busy with their son, gymnastics, and golf, but Gary’s true passion is creating smiles on the faces of doctors and their patients. Gary takes pride in assisting doctors to utilize insurance-driven practices that can be very profitable.

David Smothermon has been in the industry since 1997, and specializes in metal work and the artistry of full-mouth cases. David finds great satisfaction in working with his hands and creating something out of nothing. In his spare time, David has been personally remodeling the home he shares with his wife and three boys, and once in a while he finds time for disc golf and mountain climbing.

With two generations of certified ceramists, and a trust team of exceptionally skilled senior technicians, we are tremendously picky about quality. We are honored to consult with some of the most highly regarded dental doctors in our area.
